I have been a recreational artist as long as I can remember. I have always involved myself in any art and photography projects that presented themselves. I have taken formal classes in art and photography and I have an associates degree in graphic design.
I began my graphic design career in 1999. In that time I have been the graphic artist at Washington County and worked in several print shops. Working in several different print shops I gained experience with customer service, copying, bindery, printing, pre-press and of course Graphic Design. I am now working as a full time freelance designer.
This experience makes me a more effective designer. Since I know what goes into the production part of a job I can problem solve my graphics work more effectively. Working in pre-press I had to do a lot of adjustments to files to make them output properly. This experience has taught me how to make my files correct from the beginning.
As an artist and photographer I can do my own illustrations for my design pieces. I feel that my combined experience in art, photography, graphic design and production work makes me a complete package. Take a look at my portfolios to see samples of work I've done through the years.
